We Support Gaming4Life and You Can (And You Can Too!)

This weekend, Sony Foundation Australia is hosting an incredible charity livestreaming event called Gaming4Life, which is set to be one of the biggest entertainment-filled livestream experiences ever! The 30-hour global livestream will feature streamers, musicians and game devs coming together to show what a powerful force for good the gaming community can be. But that's not all! If you tune into the stream, you could also win one of these awesome Dreams t-shirts! These shirts will be awarded to those who donate and we've also got 20 *super special* shirts signed by all the Molecules, so get your donating hats on, folks, and dig deep!

All funds raised during the livestream will go towards You Can, Sony Foundation's youth cancer program set up in 2010 to help young Australians living with cancer:

You Can is a youth cancer program set up by Sony Foundation Australia in 2010 to assist the needs of the 'forgotten generation' of young Australians with cancer. Young people diagnosed with cancer aged between 15 and 25 have significantly poorer survival rates than children and older adults due to a lack of access to age appropriate care. To address this issue, You Can funds youth cancer centres and to date, Sony Foundation has built and opened You Can Centres in Perth and Melbourne with a Sydney centre set to open in 2017 and a proposed centre for Brisbane on the horizon. Funds raised by the community will make a real and tangible impact in the lives of thousands of Australian youth who are battling cancer via the You Can Centres by encouraging collaboration of medical experts to tackle youth cancer specific issues and the opportunity for young people to be amongst peers in an environment designed for them.
