Tearaway Wins Three BAFTA Games Awards!

There’s a whole lot of happiness here at Mm Towers this week (not to mention some slightly sore heads too!) after Tearaway picked up not one, not two, but three awards at this year’s BAFTA Games Awards!

We were nominated for an eye-popping 8 awards, alongside some of last year’s most successful games, including The Last of Us by our friends at Naughty Dog, who also picked up 5 BAFTAs and the mega blockbuster Grand Theft Auto V, so for us to walk away with 3 BAFTA awards is simply incredible. We are all so proud of our game and so overwhelmed at the amazing support that was shown to us during the ceremony, we even got a shout out from Countess of the Countdown Conundrum, Carol Vorderman!

After the awards, we all headed out to Cecil’s Bar for some Molecule celebrations! Here’s a few photos from the evening.

Whilst we’re on the subject of celebrations and acceptance speeches, we’d like to take this moment to say a great big thank you to you guys, our fantastic community, who have helped make Tearaway what it is today! We have been absolutely amazed at all the love and excitement you guys have shown us, and we have loved seeing all your wonderful paper crafting creations! You guys have supported us every step of the way and we really couldn’t have done it without you. <3
