A level in Create mode!
by Mnniska
A Completly new Concept, full of Unique Gameplay and Awesome Scenery! Enjoy this Crazy but Fun level! ~ NOTE: Its no use going into playmode at all. Copy this level to your moon and start enjoying it :D ~Made by Mnniska~
This is absolutely bonafide awesome. I'm fairly late to the party on this, as it's been around a while now and it's something you've probably all seen, but if you haven't you should give this a try! The idea here is that you copy the level to your moon and play it in create mode, using the create tools to manipulate the world as you play, specifically play/pause. Of course you have to enter into the spirit of it and not 'cheat', but if you do, I guarantee some smiles!
Wow! This is bloody genius and really satisfying to play - you could cheat, but you don't want to! A whole new gameplay mechanic being exploited that was right under our noses this whole time.
OH NO!!! THE PRINCESS!!! World 3: Ocean Side
by CaptainCowboyHat
Sackboy's quest to save the Princess continues in its third chapter. The Dinosaur King's vile influence has spread to the seas! Ready, wet, go!
This level is part of a big series of really quite evil levels, all of which require skill and patience. Tom has neither of those things, and threw the controller at me at the end of this particular level. For that alone, this level must join the ranks of Mm picks! I'd also like to note that I enjoyed the King's banter, nicely written throughout. :)
Spice & CO
by Poms
Something is fishy in "SPICE & CO". A prosperous spice industry or an evil weapon factory?
Oooh a new level from Sackie nominated curator Poms? What possible reason would you have for not checking it out? Spice & co is an awesome level with tons of puzzles, and a great theme that brings them all together -it's rammed with classic platforming, and great use of explosives. Loved playing this one!
The Doctor: Egyptian Findings. Introduction.
by Jackofcourse
Go exploring through the pyramid and see what treasures you can find. Don't take too long though or your new found friend might not take you on his next adventure...
One of my favourite Creators Jackofcourse has published the first in a series of Doctor Who themed levels with this introduction level based in Egypt. It's is a brilliant example of good clean puzzle platform fun, with evil traps and good re-use of gameplay motifs. Can't wait to play the rest in the series!
The Somnium
by angel-punishment
A voyage of great discovery ,trough the depths of imagination. (1-4P , 2 player recommended for maximum enjoyment ). Dedicaded to my family and friends
Wow this level has some awesome visuals. As I was playing it, Mags who is sat behind me asked if I was playing our game or something else entirely. Well worth checking out! The reflection based gameplay at the end is awesome, I'd love to see that expanded.
The Woodlander
by EaziG
Its a little adventure for sackboy as he makes his way through the last forest and swims deep in many of the cave pools. Credits to "ShadowflareX" for some good ideas, and puns. (Dont forget to comment, I read each one)
Awesome little details in this level like the gem hunting, music track changer, and cool watery puzzles make it well worth playing. It also features some really nice visual touches like shafts of light through the water, and mossy growth on the wooden platforms. The boss type machine at the end is cool, although needs to threaten you a bit more to make it more fun!
Unhearted: Drakes Misfortune 2
by GruntosUK
Help Drake quest through "Teh Temple Of The Real Water" so he can find a way to control Cool Levels. Will the tomes Of "Teh Real Waterz" teach him all he needs to know? Puzzle/Platforming, HARD.
This superb level is absolutely rammed with detail, and uses the space incredibly well - having you come back on yourself and walk behind areas you have already been through, or reuse certain areas multiple times. It also contains a really fun catapult contraption. Although it uses the 50 layer glitch, which can make it slightly confusing at times, this is a top notch puzzle based adventure, with an amusingly sarcastic story line to boot, and I highly recommend it.
