BAFTA Guru Live with Luci

If you happen to find yourself in London or Glasgow on the 6th + 7th May, be sure to check out BAFTA's 'Guru Live' event which features two jam-packed days of inspirational talks, panels, Q&A's and masterclasses with BAFTA nominees in film, TV and games, including one very special nominee - our very own Luci Black!

Luci will be speaking at the Centre of Contemporary Arts in Glasgow on the 6th May as part of 'The Ladder: Games' panel where she'll be joined by host Dr. Romana Ramzan (BAFTA Scotland Committee Member and Lecturer at GCU), Malath Abbas (Designer & Producer at Biome Collective) and Andy Grier (Audio Director at Sounding Sweet). The panelists will be sharing their advice and insight for those who are just starting out in the games industry, along with discussing the skills needed to succeed and any barriers they came across when they first started out. It sounds like a really interesting panel and a definite must for anyone looking to make a break in games; Luci has been in the industry for 20+ years and what she doesn't know about games isn't worth knowing :)
