Introducing Mm Brighton!
21/10/2016
Every day for many years a group of molecules have travelled between Guildford and Brighton. Through rain, shine, snow, good trains and bad our merry little group have been getting up early and making tracks to Guildford! But after many years of these big efforts we decided to start looking for a space down in Brighton to reduce the amount of time they were spending commuting and the good news is that we have found a space.
The Brighton space is a light and airy studio set within Lighthouse, a multi-purpose working and arts venue situated in a former printworks in the heart of the North Laine. We share this space with six other creative organisations who all work from the suites housed within the building. It’s fantastic to be working alongside such a varied mix of creative, inspiring companies. You can read more about our new neighbours.
The Mm Brighton Molecules are Tom Kiss, Naomi Summerscales, Tom Dallaway and Martin Taylor who all live locally. Our Studio Director Siobhan popped over for a visit yesterday along with Jamie from our QA Team and they both spent the day working from the new office. I hear it’s a lot quieter down there :D
The Brighton team split their time between Guildford and Brighton, making sure they’re ‘back at base camp’ for all the big meetings and team syncs. It’s working wonderfully well so far and we’re looking forward to more Molecules going down to Brighton to work from the new space, or any of our advertised roles being filled by a Brighton local who may want to take advantage of this new Mm location!
